Mark Boyce, founder and owner of Skillful Limited, represented NZ interests in the development of Australasian competence standards for both detectives and intelligence officers.
These competence standards form the basis of Australian and New Zealand qualifications, such as the NZ certificates and diplomas in intelligence analysis.
Skillful offers registered assessors for both intelligence and compliance qualifications on the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) framework, including:
2392 — NZ Certificate in Intelligence (Introduction) (Level 3)
2394 — NZ Certificate in Intelligence (Level 5) with strands in Collection, and Collation
2396 — NZ Diploma in Intelligence Analysis (Level 6)
Our training uses real-world experience, coupled with client-specific content that actively engages adult learners, building the knowledge and skills regulatory staff need for successful investigations.
Our NZQA assessment brings real-world understanding to the assessment process. This gives you confidence that trainees who we assess as having ‘achieved’ a unit standard, have actually demonstrated competence in that topic.
We also do assessment against the NZQA Compliance Qualifications.
